Connection before Correction
Justice is my work. Ministry is my why.
Connection before Correction
Justice is my work. Ministry is my why.
Why I Do This Work
I believe every person deserves to be met with honesty, compassion, and dignity. My work is grounded in listening deeply, advocating boldly, and helping others find their voice in the moments that matter most.
Possibility begins with grace
My Story
John T. Vance
I am living proof that God still performs miracles.
My story began in deep places of brokenness that culminated in my becoming justice-involved as a teenager. I was lost, but God met me there. He did not just offer me comfort; He initiated a profound transformation of my character.
God rebuilt my life on a new foundation: accountability, service, and integrity.
Through my faith, I learned that true freedom is found in responsibility. He helped me to understand that the law is not just a set of rules. It is a tool to protect the vulnerable and uphold the truth.

I believe in grace for all who believe.
I believe love is our calling.
About This Ministry
"As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
— John 13:34
This ministry exists because Jesus did not love people only when they were strong, certain, or deserving. He loved them in their grief, their failures, and their return home. That love was not abstract, but embodied. It was shared at tables, spoken in compassion, and lived toward those others had given up on.
I seek to love in that same way.
Whether through legal advocacy, written word, or one-on-one discipleship, my goal is to help others encounter the same transformative grace that changed my life. Every person matters. Every story has redemption waiting.
